History of the Airborne Quarterly Magazine

Originally published by the then Airborne Association beginning in the 60s, the magazine existed for about six years. The turmoil of the Vietnam Era and declining membership saw both the then Association and magazine go into ‘hull defilade’.

In the late 80s, Dale Yee resurrected the magazine and published it until his death in the late 90s, after ten years of publication.

At that time, the current publisher (Col (Ret.) William E. Weber) chartered the non-profit fraternal veterans organization (American Airborne Association) and made the magazine the publication of that organization. It has been published continuously since then as the “Voice” of the American Airborne Association
